About us Among our clients are not only butchers, hotels, restaurants, caterers but also companies in the meat and fish processing industry as well as in the food industry. MOGUNTIA has been in this business for more than one hundred years now and our name stands for stability, continuance and excellent relationship with our customers. MOGUNTIA has the most modern spice plant in Europe. Situated in Kirchbichl, with 12000 square meters and an annual capacity of 18000 t of spices and additives, the plant is continually developing and expanding. The MOGUNTIA factory utilizes a state-of-the-art material flow concept. Computer- guided robots gather all the ingredients of each recipe into dedicated large or small containers. This automated dosage system guarantees a recipe with 100% accuracy. The unique mixing technology utilizing special dedicated containers for each batch allows for complete clean-down between product changes. This guarantees a high level of hygiene and product safety. Detectors in all areas of the production plant and in the warehouses prevent unwanted pests. All components of the production machinery are exclusively made of premium quality high grade stainless steel. MOGUNTIA was the first company in the world to develop this unique cold grinding procedure for spices FRIOSAFE. The essential oils in the spices are concentrated by liquid nitrogen. A unique and sophisticated cutting technology allows grinding without heat generation, which prevents the volatilization of the valuable essential oils. This technique increases the taste profile by 25-30%. The production facility meets all the international quality standards. The most modern spice plant in Europe is ready to deliver the needs of the market, with the highest quality standard.
Besides the original classics the range of products consists of soups, sauces, seasonings, kitchen additives, spices, marinades, condiments and dessert. The MOGUNTIA Food Service range now includes over 600 products. The BIO product range with the premium brand Bio4well® is becoming more and more extensive.
